Born and raised
in Worcester, England in
1955, Glenn was encouraged from
an early age to follow his own path by his caring and hard-working
parents Gerald and June.
Dad and Mum are still married and continue to enjoy life
today at the young ages of 81 and 75 respectively. Glenn also has
a lovely younger sister, Karen, who is married to Rob.
Glenn learned quickly. He was able to tell
the time at the age of 3 and could play chess before he went to
school. During his early years, he was fascinated by science, astronomy
and metaphysics. He particularly enjoyed reading about psychic
and supernatural phenomena, the prospect of extraterrestrial life
and space travel. He was good at sport, maths and languages.
After graduating with a University degree in Linguistics
and International Studies, including law as a special subject,
Glenn qualified as a Solicitor of the English Supreme Court, and
in 1990 became a partner of a large international law firm, specialising
in commercial dispute resolution primarily in the maritime and
aviation fields.
From around the mid 80s, Glenn began
taking an active interest in personal and spiritual development. He embarked on a number of life skills trainings. In 1991, he
became an Insight Leadership graduate. In 1997, he became a certified
trainer of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), and he is currently running his own business as a Corporate and Life Prosperity Coach. Glenn is also a Co-Owner
of Buckland Hall, a well known Conference, Celebration and Retreat
Centre in Brecon, Wales.
Glenn is single with no children, has not married but has
enjoyed three long "live-in" relationships with
Angela, Carol and Bonnie, each of whom brought joy and special
gifts into Glenn's life.
Glenn has long been fascinated by amazing coincidences in his own life
For example, having loved and lost Bonnie after a
six month relationship some eight years earlier, Glenn was on his
way to meet a blind date in London's Covent
Garden. Not thinking or knowing why, he took a
slight detour in driving past the Royal Opera House and happened
to spot Bonnie in the crowd outside. Unable to stop and park, and
noticing anyway that she seemed to be with a boyfriend, Glenn was
intrigued but carried on to meet the new lady at a nearby venue.
They seemed to be getting on well, or so Glenn thought,
when - with the night still young - the lady suddenly announced
in mid conversation that she did not think they would be compatible
and that she was going home! Left 'high and dry', feeling rejected
and pretty low, Glenn was about to head back to the car when he
remembered Bonnie.
Walking round to the Opera House he was just
in time to see the first patrons emerging at the end of the performance.
He positioned himself across the road to wait. Within no more than
two or three minutes, he recognised Bonnie and her partner with
another couple as they walked out on to the street. Seizing the
moment, Glenn followed and caught them up. He greeted Bonnie, gave
her his card and introduced himself politely to the others. Within
two weeks, they had spoken and met up again. Bonnie accepted Glenn's
invitation to a subsequent party and that began a very happy ten year relationship.
In writing this book, Glenn would like to draw upon your stories. They may be similar 'chance' meetings. They may tell of more
extraordinary events. They may be stories having a major impact
on your life. Above all, they may already have led you to question
whether there really are such things as coincidences. . . |
